Fringe in the media: Climate Imaginaries

Scientist-creative Matt de Boer and multi-media artist Kim Newall (both Northland residents) have created Climate Imaginaries, an experimental, immersive mix of soundscape – including nature recordings – and projections of images sourced from climate data to lichen. The experience aims to get people thinking about the climate crisis and positive pathways towards a new future.

Last weekend they spoke with Lynn Freeman, of RNZ National’s Standing Room Only arts programme, about the event. You can listen to the interview here.
